Bamboo Pen Tablet Illustrations

Hello, I hope you all are well! For the past few weeks I have been pondering whether or not to buy a Wacom Bamboo Graphics Tablet. Yesterday I finally bit the bullet, went out to my local computer store and bought one, I must say I'm very glad I did. The concept is pretty self explanatory - you draw on the tablet as you would a normal piece of paper and it comes up on the screen (I used the application 'sumo painter'). It is a lot lighter than I expected but takes a lot of getting used to as it is nothing like a normal track pad but once I got the hang of it it was amazing as you can easily edit colours, sizes, shapes and much more as you go along.

These are my first two drawings:

The tablet has a matte black front and a lime green back.

The Bamboo Pen comes in this eye-catching packaging.

Please email me with requests for drawings and also I would love to do guest illustrations for blogs. Email me at: Harriet.Cochrane@gmail.com

I hope you liked the illustrations

Have you ever used a Wacom tablet?
...if so do you have any tips?

x

  15. I have a Bamboo tablet too. I study art direction and I do a lot of illustration and it's great, but last week, after doing a long long comic it became kinda crazy. Now it works well, I have no idea of what happened.

Your drawings look fab, so natural like real watercolors! I have to get the app you used, I only use Illustrator and sometimes it's hard to achieve that handmade effect...
