When I was in the Oxford Street Topshop I picked up this nail varnish as my local store doesn't stock makeup. It is from the Peel Off range from their new Spring Summer makeup collection. I chose the shade 'straight laced' which is a neutral grey/lilac nude colour making a change from the everyday beige nude.
I applied without a base coat although it did take four coats to build it up to an opaque colour as the formula is quite thin, I then applied a top coat to give it a glossy look and prevent chips. They dried quickly and didn't smudge at all throughout the 2 days of wear. The only problem is seeing as the are 'peel off' they do tend to partially peel off at the top of the nail. I first noticed this on one nail after about 6 hours of wear but managed to stick back down with a little base coat underneath. As for the final peel they really did come off surprising easily in one piece.
Overall this polish is great for taking on holiday or to a festival as there is no need for nail varnish remover but I would not recommend if you intend to keep it on for more than a couple days.
Is there anything from Topshop's new collection you'd like to try?

If they master a glitter peel off varnish they can have my money because taking glitter nail varnish off is a pain I would rather avoid! I do love TopShop nail varnishes, so I'll be keen to try these! :) x
ReplyDeleteI love the colours they've released in these peel off polishes but I know there's no way I'd be able to resist pulling them off as soon as I left the house! Think I'll stick to my usual polishes for now haha

I love the illustrations in your header- did you draw them? I'm avoiding the peel off nail polishes as I peel off every nail polish anyway after a few hours so this would make it so much easier and be a waste. Its a nice colour though.
